Score = VORP (value over replacement) × positional need + VONA. VONA 🚨 = Value Over Next Available: points you'd lose vs. the best player at that position who'll still be on the board at your next pick — a draft-slot-aware cliff (it uses your slot + ADP to guess who's gone by the time you're up again). Big VONA = grab him now, he won't be back. In Best Ball, the 💥 ceiling boost is what fades low-upside QBs — so an elite rushing QB with real VONA still ranks, a pocket QB doesn't. 💥 = Ceiling (0–100): TD + big-play upside — the fat-tail/boom profile. In Best Ball mode it nudges your Score toward upside — and once a PLAYER's own VORP drops to/below replacement level (he has no real standalone value left, whatever round that happens in — this is NOT tied to your Min RB/WR/etc sliders), the Dart-tier ceiling setting kicks in HARD, so Score itself sorts those picks by 💥 instead of you having to re-sort the pool by hand. 🔗 = stacks with a QB / pass-catcher you already have — now also a receiving RB (40+ catches) on your QB's team, since his catches ride the same pass volume (correlated spike weeks — Best Ball nudges these up too). ⛔ = over-stack: you already have 2 pass-catchers on this QB's team, so this would be a third — and a receiving RB counts as one of the two. Backtested on 2M entries: two catchers = 1.05x semis (every season), three = 0.87x and below baseline in every season. The receiving-back case is the one people miss — "1 WR + a 50-catch RB" was the best cell measured (1.28x), but adding a second WR on top drops it to 0.92x, right onto the 3-catcher row. Stack a different QB instead. 🪢 = handcuff to an RB you rostered. In redraft it protects your starter's floor (scored up). In Best Ball it's info only, and usually the WRONG play — your stud + his backup split one backfield (anti-correlated, no added ceiling); draft OTHER teams' high-💥 backups instead, so a hit gives you a whole new RB1. ⚠️ = bye hole — drafting him leaves you with NO player to start at his position that week (e.g. both QBs, or all your TEs, off the same bye). Best Ball fades these hard. ⏳ = safe to wait — his ADP is after your next pick, so he'll likely still be here (grab a need instead). ⚡ = won't last — his ADP falls before your next pick, so he'll probably be gone if you wait — take him now if you want him.
